Old Town Quito Suites

Welcome to Old Town Quito Suites

Welcome to a world of historic charm. A 200 years old printing house turned boutique hotel. Each of our seven apartments are decorated in a warm style, perfect for families or couples. This building's colonial architecture is enhanced with high ceilings, modestly colored walls, and vintage furniture. Some of our apartments also have fascinating views over the historic center of Quito through their large windows,.

Perfect location

Our luxury apartments are conveniently located in the heart of the city, just behind the oldest church. The neighbourhood is safe and has family-run restaurants, bars with craft beers and a colourful covered food market at walking distance. The Cathedral «Voto Nacional», just a few steps away is the ideal start to explore the Historic Centre of Quito. The parks Itchimbía, Ejido and Alameda are in the vicinity of the hotel.

Ecuador’s oldest printing house turned into luxury apartments.

This unique colonial building, originally "Atalaya Printing House", was restored with great care by re-integrating the original building elements such as the original beams, handpointed bricks, doors, handles, etc. The use of unique paint techniques, retro colours and vintage elements give the whole a breathtaking appearance but at the same time radiate a sense of tranquillity. You can look around for hours and enjoy the many details and ingenious elements, unique and different in each flat.

Dirk & Bolívar

Dirk & Bolivar have a long experience in European hospitality. They decided to move to Ecuador following a fire in the rental house they had renovated. They found this marvelous house and decided to create a comfortable welcoming place for tourists.

Using their gift to decorate, they transformed this mansion into an incredible, seductive but above all comfortable hotel. Come and enjoy their disarming charm and art to make you feel at home.
