What an amazing experience from start to finish. Apartment was awesome , spotlessless clean and well equipped with all quality amenities you could wish for. Quiet and beautifully tranquil in the heart of old town with easy access to many sights and restaurants in the vicinity . A fridge full of breakfast needs replenished daily, fresh bread and croissants, welcome bottle of wine, fresh fruit, tea/coffee... But of course ultimately it is the personal touch and service that makes it outstanding. Staff are super friendly, owner Dirk is wealth of information and so helpful with everything and he is always around to ensure your stay is perfect. They really try and make it home away from home. We cant wait to return. Dont hesitate to book this amazing place if your travels bring you to Quito, you wont regret it!

My family of 3 stayed here for four nights in February of 2020. We stayed in the "Room with a View". We had a very late check in that went perfectly smooth on arrival. The property is simply amazing! The details, the style, the architecture are all just incredible. We were very comfortable in this two bedroom suite. The owners Dirk and Bolivar and staff take guest services to a highest level, above 5 stars! Every day we had fresh fruits, fresh bread, cheese, sliced ham, yogurt, juice, coffee, milk, etc...in our room. They even brought us fresh croissants form a local corner bakery in the morning. All included! On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of red wine in our room as well. The room is very scenic to the outdoor mountains, local businesses and with lots of open windows. It includes a stunning interior courtyard with lavish flowers and local plant life. It gives you a feeling of full immersion into the Quito culture . The bedrooms are full size with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The suite itself and the entire property are very safe and secure. The neighborhood area as well was very safe, convenient and within walking distance to many local sights and businesses. We walked a lot on our trip here day and night. Transportation to and from the airport was easy as well as local transport (taxi, Uber, tour pickup and drop-offs) Perfect for long term visits as well. We'll definitely be back!

This place is really unlike any other stay I have experienced. The owner and staff were so unbelievably accommodating, it warmed my heart. They have food and water waiting in our room for us and restocked what we used every day. You have everything you need and more and the apartments themselves are breath taking! The location is very convenient with lots of great places to eat near by. I highly recommend Old Town Quito Suites!

This was quite a special place to stay with all involved really keen that you left with nothing but a totally positive feeling. We have travelled a lot and this place is right up there. The pre-arranged pick up from airport set the tone. The driver Xavier was there to greet and really made an effort to make contact and explain the geography and history of Quito. The reception was warm and the owner on hand to welcome AND evident throughout the 5 nights/ 6 days we stayed. The owner, Dirk, was always interestedto discuss your day and experience and happy to advise if asked. The fridge was well stocked for breakfasts and replenished each day along with a fresh loaf of artisan style bread.... warm croissants also delivered to door ( arrange the night before). The cleaning by Maia and team was exceptional standard. The self-catering apartments were beautifully designed in a shabby-chic style and catered for all needs. The other beauty is location and such close proximity to the old town. (We stayed two nights in La Mariscal - allegedly the lively centre; ( worth a visit but it had nothing on San Blas and old town). Itchibia Park with its great views of the city is a challenging 15 minute walk up endless flights of steps - not for the faint hearted... but well worth the effort. Basílica walking distance too. Thanks to Dirk and his dedicated team for a wonderful visit.

The Old Town Quito Suites was an amazing place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, large and comfortable with everything we needed. Shower was large and had plenty of hot water and the bed was large and comfortable. They also had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bottled water, juice, kitchen items, plenty of food and fresh fruit, robes and slippers. It was on a quiet street but I was still worried about street noise and lobby noise; fortunately they had noise blocking windows and doors so we did not hear a thing. Tv and WiFi were great. Staff was amazing—greeting us personally on our late arrival and also coordinated professional tours for us. They recommended some delicious places to eat. LOVED our stay and I would definitely stay there again.

The place is very well located in a charming street next to the historical city center, very comfortable, and most of all, the staff is really thoughtful, and very careful to details, making us really feel like at home, with the service of a hotel. Had a very nice time there, thank you!

This is the only place to stay in the old town! We booked it specifically because it was in old town And at a great price but got so much more. The attention to detail is perfect. Two bed, one and half bath and every inch with a personal touch. It was the perfect space for our party of four adults and one child. They had fresh bread and fruits and fridge stocked with yogurt, milk, butter, eggs! Even a large container of bottled water! Clean and modern amenities in a spectacular traditional building. Special thanks to the owner and his colleague who helped us with a minor emergency with such personal care! We will recommend this place to anyone who asks us where to stay in Quito and can’t wait to come for a longer stay!

Stayed here for 2 days. I am stunned by this place. The suite has a large bedroom, large fully equipped and stocked kitchen, large living room with fireplace, and a modern clean bath. The owner, Sebastian, was super helpful as was all his staff. I would rate this place much more than 5 stars if it was possible. If I ever travel to Quito again I will certainly want to stay here.

By some stroke of incredible luck Old Town Quito Suites has managed to find the 10 or so truly nicest people in Quito - maybe even in Ecuador - to run this perfect home away from home. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with warmth and everyone falling over themselves to help with luggage and advice and orientation! We almost wept when we saw the apartment (High Ceilings) - stylish and roomy and cosy and comfortable. perfect for two! Kitchen well-equipped if you want a meal in. But so many super-great small cafes within seconds of walking all we managed was leftovers for the Super Bowl. Easy 15 minute walk to Historic Centre and super cheap ($2-5) cab ride to bottom of park for sunset drinks at Cafe Mosaics or Vista Hermosa or to great restaurants and modern feel of New Town. Also, 3 great ground floor apartments from an accessibility point of view. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a minute. Most of all we were blown away by the lovely kind people that make this accommodation work so well!

I stayed here for a week with friends and had an absolutely fabulous experience. The building itself is very secure (24 hour front desk attendant) and in a great location nearby the historic center. There was plenty to do within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and cleaned spotless every single day. Not only that, they had excellent attention to detail. We had fresh eggs, homemade croissants, jam, coffee, tea, bottled water, and more provided complimentary every single day! You are paying a very reasonable price for luxury hotel quality! I would highly recommend - I'll be staying there in the future if I ever make it back to Quito!

El hotel es maravilloso, el personal de igual manera, te reciben con un excelente menaje gratis para tu consumo, incluyendo frutas, carnes frías, hasta un buen vino. Las instalaciones son espectáculares, es una casona antigua (la primera imprenta que existió en Quito) reformada pero con todas las comodidades de un hotel 5 estrellas. Cercano a todos los sitios de interés de la ciudad antigua, de muy fácil acceso al transporte público. La dotación de los baños algo muy elegante, con buenas y bonitas salidas de baño para todos. En conclusión, una experiencia maravillosa en este hotel, recomendado a ojo cerrado para que lo visiten. El propietario te atiende personalmente, aunque es extranjero, maneja el español en forma perfecta, además te hace sentir como en casa. · Everything. We travel a lot and are quite critical people however if we could rate this property 11/10 we would. The owner and team are exceptionally professional and friendly. The property is in the perfect location for the historic centre and the apartments are tasteful shabby chic. Breakfasts in your fridge and warm croissants delivered to your door .Maia an exceptional cleaner. What’s not to love about this place?
